The idea for CareerBoost.Org has it roots in the life of Lea Jablonsky Uhre. She served in diverse positions in the public and private sectors where she progressively advanced through management positions.  Most notably, she served as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Scheduling and Correspondence and retired from her career as the Director of the White House Libraries.

Community was important to her and in addition to volunteering at numerous organizations, along the way Lea helped women with their careers.  She helped them get jobs, coached stay at home moms how to enter the workforce for the first time, edited numerous resumes, opened her rolodex to make introductions, mentored those more junior than her on how to navigate work dynamics and systems, changed industries, went back to graduate school while working, and set an example of how to balance being a professional woman and mother.

CareerBoost.Org. is just like Lea - it gives the practical information she gave to every woman she met, it facilitates a way to help to the next generation, and it gives information that shows and inspires on what is possible to anyone no matter where they are in their career. We aims to empower women to find the work they love and optimize their ability to do it.  It is exactly how Lea lived her life.

OUR MISSION
